Welcome to Arkansas School for the Deaf

ASD Middle School implements developmentally responsive middle level education techniques and motivations, by focusing on the characteristics and needs of our young adolescents. By establishing a community of teachers, staff, and students to create networks of support and responsibility, students' social and academic achievement are enhanced.

• 89-80 --> B
• 79-70 --> C
• 69-60 --> D

*Vocabulary Test Lists --> Review these words with your child often, and help them stay fresh and prepared for any test!

*We exceeded our goal and raised $80 dollars for the charities we were working with! Great job guys, we'll have pictures up soon!

*Look for PodCasting on our Main Site! It's an awesome place to learn new signs. The staff are the signers - do you recognize any of them? 

*Information on community sign language classes for the summer is also available.  

*Cheerleading tryouts for any students eighth grade and up are coming up - May 3-6 any student may try out.

*Jeans on Friday! Each student who wishes to participate should pay $10 a semester ASAP.
