A few of the topics the Lower School students have worked on are: Anti Bullying (what bullying is and how to report bullying), Drug & Alcohol Education, Safety Awareness, Feelings (matching signs to our feelings and situations in life), Stop and Think (decision making).

Middle School: Drug Education Awareness, Self-Identity, Deaf Culture, Self-Advocacy

High School: Mr. Dennis Cole with Centers for Youth and Families has just completed an 8 unit course with all HS students on "Choosing the Best" curriculum which teaches: Relationships, Decision Making and areas of Sexuality Education. Also, Mr. Jeff Prail recently presented on the Deaf Holocaust.

The following is the testing calendar for the Spring:

Grade 11 Literacy- March 5th & 6th, Iowa test for grades 1,2 & 9th- April 2nd -5th,  Benchmark for grades 3 to 8th- April 8th through the 12th, End of Course (EOC) Geometry-April 16th & 17th, EOC Biology- April 23rd & 24th EOC Algebra- May7th 8th

As Coordinator of the Crisis Response Committee I welcome any questions or concerns regarding our school safety program.
