2009-2010 ASD Basketball News (A Look Back)

Announced April 29, 2010 at the annual ASD Athletics Sports Banquet:

Marcus Henderson - MVP

Shawn Portier - Top Student/Athlete

Cody Bullard - Model Athlete

The 2009-2010 ASD basketball season has come to a close. The Leopards finished the season with an overall record of 1-21, 1-14 AACS, 0-7 vs Deaf. The season was long and hard for us; but thank you to everyone who came out and supported our athletes. Go Leopards Go!!

Marcus Henderson finished this season as the 2009-2010 ASD Leopard Basketball MVP, with 437 points and a scoring average of 20.8 points per game. He was named to the 2010 NDIAA All-America Team (Honorable Mention). He has been invited to play in the annual NADB East/West Senior All-Star Game in Louiville KY. Congratulations to Marcus Henderson!

Marcus Henderson was named to the 2010 GPSD All-Tournament Team for his three game performance, scoring 62 points and averaging 20.6 points per game during the tournament.

Marcus Henderson, Shawn Portier and Cody Bullard were named to the All-Tournament team in Oklahoma at the 2009 Indian Classic Tournament. Congratulations to these three for their hard work and noticed play.
