UPDATED: On April 6, 2020, Governor Hutchinson made an announcement that all schools will remain closed for the remainder of the school year.
ASD has been notified that all schools in Pulaski County are closing, due to the spread of the COVID-19 Corona Virus. This means that it had remained closed for the remainder of the school year.
Please note: We have not had any exposure on our campus, and we are not aware of any staff member or student who has had direct exposure. This closure is to keep all of our students and staff safe and to give everyone a chance to remain at home during this outbreak.
ASD will be closed until Fall 2020, according to the most current information we have from the Governor’s office.
The days that we are closed will be AMI days, much like snow days. Students will have work to complete while they are home, except for Spring Break days. Like all AMI days, teachers will be available to help with questions or homework from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon Monday – Friday on school days until the last day of school.
