COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)

ASD has been notified that all schools in Pulaski County are closing, due to the spread of the COVID-19 Corona Virus. This means that ASD will also be closing today to March 30, 2020.

Please note: We have not had any exposure on our campus, and we are not aware of any staff member or student who has had direct exposure.  This closure is to keep all of our students and staff safe and to give everyone a chance to remain at home during this outbreak.

ASD will be closed until March 30, according to the most current information we have from the Governor’s office.

The days that we are closed will be AMI days, much like snow days. Students will have work to complete while they are home, except for Spring Break days. Like all AMI days, teachers will be available to help with questions or homework from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon Monday – Friday on school days.

At this time, we are hoping we can run buses back to school on Monday, March 30th, but since this is a very fluid situation, we cannot confirm that yet. We will get in touch with you again while the school is closed to confirm the dates that the school will reopen. We will continue to send you information through this system, and we will post more general information on our ASD Facebook page.
