Arkansas School for the Deaf recognizes the importance of parent and family involvement in the educational success of students and is committed to encouraging parental involvement in all academic, functional, and social areas of their child’s education. The administration and faculty at ASD work hard to foster and support active parental involvement. We know that parents are an integral part of the educational success of their children.
Parents are welcome to join our VIP Parent Group, which meets monthly. During these informal meetings, we share ideas for how we can all work together to make ASD the best place for each of our students. Childcare and pizza are provided at each meeting, too!
For more information on how you can be involved as a parent at ASD, please contact Michelle Alvarez.
