The mission of Athletic Department: Athletics should be an educational experience. The Athletics Program at Arkansas School for the Deaf aims at providing a healthy, enjoyable atmosphere conducive to the growth and development of every participant. Participation in Athletics is a privilege, not a right. This theme should be stressed to student-athletes/team members. Each Student-Athlete/Team Member must meet the requirements and expectations of both the school and the team in order to be eligible to participate.
